Reliable and efficient operation saves energy
Energy savings and minimized wear are achieved thanks to our AC drives continuously adapting flow/pressure to the level required. Inefficiency due to worn equipment, air leakage or the compressor idling is detected immediately.
Parameters can be set in your own process units, for example m3/s or bar, making monitoring easier and safer. Up to seven compressors can be controlled without using PLCs or other external equipment.
Smooth starts reduce mechanical stress
Our softstarters greatly reduce start currents, minimizing mechanical stress and allowing you to use smaller fuses and less expensive cables. The results are reduced energy, installation and maintenance costs.
The built-in torque control enables you to start more smoothly with constant acceleration. This means improved process control and reduced maintenance. The compressor can be rotated at a slow speed to ensure free rotation prior to starting.
Protection against damage and downtime
We offer efficient protection of your compressors, saving maintenance and downtime costs. Our shaft power monitors, also built into our other products, prevent damage and inefficiency by sending a warning or stopping the process, for example if cooling agent enters into the compressor screw.
This is done by using a unique technique of calculating the motor shaft power. Any over- and underload situation is detected immediately, across the entire speed range. Using the motor as its own sensor means no costly and service-demanding external sensors are required.
